Thankfully modders from all over the world have created some amazing modifications to Skyrim which make shouts much more useful and give new reasons to explore them in battle. In reality, shouts seem to lack a lot of depth in more complex gameplay.
Shouts are a fundamental part of Skyrim, or that’s at least what they are supposed to be.
